Rachel has always been a writer of sorts. She began seriously writing Novels in 2014
# 4- Where does Rachel get her story ideas?
Everywhere. In an airport, on a train, in a car, at a book signing-wherever she is, she is thinking about her characters and plot points. She says, “As a writer, it's not something you can ‘turn off’. She uncovers storylines everywhere and from everything.”
# 5- What authors does Rachel read?
Rachel reads a lot; Graham Greene, Patricia Cornwell, Mary Higgins Clark, Hemingway, and Truman Capote are among her favorites.
# 6—What is Rachel’s writing process? Does she write every day?
Rachel’s days are typical for being a writer. When she is finishing a novel, she can write for 8-10 hours straight, sometimes through the night. Some days she’s so busy with other things that she only writes for an hour or two.
# 7- I have a great story idea for Rachel. Will she consider writing it?
No, Rachel does not read unsolicited story ideas.
# 8- Will Rachel read my manuscript and give me her opinion?
No. Rachel does not read unpublished material.
# 9- Does Rachel have any advice for aspiring writers?
Writing is hard; it’s easy to give up. Stick with it! And never take no for an answer.

# 12- How can I get a personalized/autographed copy of one of Rachel’s books?
Rachel loves to meet and sign books for fans and does so a number of times each year at book signing events. If you cannot attend a book signing, you can go to Rachel's website page “autographs” to purchase an autographed book.
# 13- When does the website post updated appearance dates and locations?
We post appearance dates as soon as we’ve confirmed them. Rachel has begun to publish a novel each spring (March or April) and fall (October or November), so if a tour is scheduled, it will likely take place during that time period. For more information about the release of Rachel’s novels, please consider subscribing to her newsletter.
# 14- How many books may I bring to a book signing?
Please check with the store, venue or library hosting the event for its book signing policy.
# 15- Why hasn’t Rachel visited my city yet?
Rachel would absolutely love to visit every city where she has fans, but writing two to three novels each year means she must spend most of her time writing and researching. Right now she’s focusing on other important writing projects as well. You can of course, use the contact form and set up a book signing or speaking event in your city if Rachel is available.

Because of the sheer volume of mail Rachel receives, it is difficult at times. But she does make every attempt to do so. Rachel’s assistant, Dean, checks much of Rachel's correspondence, making sure that Rachel is aware of each email's contents, but please be patient, as Rachel receives hundreds of emails each week. she will make every attempt to respond personally to your email.
